The North American Floorball League (NAFL) exists to bring the highest level of floorball to North America, in order to showcase the sport to a new audience and develop the game in new markets.  Floorball is a fast-paced, exciting sport that has become very popular in Europe and is rapidly expanding around the world, particularly in North America.  The NAFL was founded in 2020 and will begin play in June of 2022.

The NAFL will begin play with 4 teams.  The regular season will be played over the course of four weekends, with each team hosting the other teams for round robin play.  Each team will play the other three teams once per weekend.  The schedule has been made and teams will be plugged into the schedule at random to minimize any advantage.  Games will be played spaced across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of each weekend. The teams will each play 12 regular season games, and all four teams will advance to the playoffs, which will be held on the 5th weekend of the season.  Semi-finals will be played on Saturday, 3rd place and finals will be played on Sunday.   The regular season will start on June 24th, 2022, and the championship game will be played on July 31st, 2022.  The weekend of July 8th will be a bye weekend so that all eligible players are available to play for their home countries at The World Games in Birmingham, Alabama.
