League Format

The NAFL began play with 4 teams, and will play with 6 teams in 2023. The season will be played over the course of three weeks, with 3 teams hosting the other teams for round-robin play in their home venue. Each team will play 2 to 5 games per week. The teams will each play 10 regular season games, and the top four teams will advance to the playoffs, which will be held on the final Saturday and Sunday of the season.

The regular season will be played during the month of July 2023. The league is played using the rules promulgated by the International Floorball Federation (IFF). All games will consist of three 20-minute periods with clock stoppage on every whistle.  Games cannot end in a tie. A 15 second shot clock has been implemented for penalty shots.
